Musician's Health is an educational web site devoted to the understanding and the explanation of musician's injuries, along with guidelines regarding injury prevention, optimizing your musical performance, and for achieving an optimum state of health.

Thank you for visiting this web page devoted to the understanding of why musicians are susceptible to injury, especially painful neck, shoulder, arm and hand problems. In this web site, you will learn why injuries develop, how to prevent them, and discover health enhancement options available to you should you experience symptoms.

This site is also home of the Chiropractic Performing Arts Network (CPAN). The CPAN is a group of chiropractors who have an avid interest in working with the performing arts population, and in most cases are personally trained as musicians, dancers, and actors. The goal of the CPAN is to bring natural, drugless healthcare to the performing arts population with the vision of enhancing performance, increasing vitality & creativity, eliminating drug use (both prescription and recreational), and increasing overall body awareness.

The Chiropractic Performing Arts Network. was founded by Dr. Timothy Jameson, a Doctor of Chiropractic practicing in Castro Valley, California, USA. This site is a labor of love that evolved over the past 15 years. Replying to hundreds of musician's email requests for health information has led to the information you read on these pages.
